RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, also known as Rich Site Summary, with extensions, .rss, .xml, etc. It was created in the year 1996. It is a kind of format (mostly XML) to market data entries in a web, like blog entries, advertisements, discussions in a discussion forum, etc. Any RSS tracking document is called as a feed or a channel. It will contain the full data as a summary, the author's name and date of publication. This RSS feed is mainly subscribed by users to get timely updates from the site.
