RSS Tool

This tool is mainly used in creation of new websites and for the blogs who want their information to be published. After the creation of the blog it contains the information which is comprised of the title and some text and contains a button for the readers to read more information. For the RSS to accept the feeds it needs a feed reader. This is called Aggregator. Now days they are available online and can be stored in cell phones also. This service is found interesting by the readers.

The RSS feeds are almost available in all the sites with either a RSS feed button or the XML button at the side of the website. This tool can be accessed in two ways, either by clicking the RSS button or just copying and pasting the URL. These tools are very friendly and hence it is very fast and easy to use. There are more facilities in which the tool can be used for subscribing newsletters or the latest updates through mails. With this there is no necessity to wait for long hours for the latest news or feed. It will be available once it is updated in the feed. We can also unsubscribe to the feed if we do not want it.

Aggregators:

This is a special tool which is popularly used and it is often called as portals. These tools are integrated in e-mail patrons and some desktop software. This is a very versatile component which has the advantage of including the relevant information and hiding the information that has already been viewed.

Use of making the feeds available:

This feed is mainly used for attracting more viewers and making the work easy as it provides the latest updates. Considering an example, suppose a website is being viewed by someone and then after some days it has got an update the reader has to go and view it by viewing it everyday. This is very complex. To make the work easier these feeds are essential to automatically update all information by jus clicking once. This reduces the time and also the viewers need not remember what sites they have viewed.

Format for the feeds

This is very confusing format since it uses many formats that are in the web. But in general it can be solved with ease. Aggregators use syndicated libraries which have concepts and hence can be used in the syndication feeds.

The format for choosing the feed is our personal preference. However most widely used is the version RSS 1.0. The next version RSS 2.0 is very easy to use. The IETF standard has stability and consistency.
